COOKIE
POLICY

Effective date: 10 August, 2026

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on www.tzuka.com (the "Site"), what each one does, and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal information more generally.

"Tzuka", "we" and "us" means Tzuka Limited, The Studio, Holywell Building, Holywell Way, Loughborough, LE11 3UZ, registered in England and Wales under company number 11059456. We are the controller of the information described here.

1. Introduction

We use a small number of cookies to run the Site, and a further set to understand how it is used and to measure our advertising. Apart from the ones that are strictly necessary, none of them are set unless you have agreed to them.

We have tried to make this policy specific rather than vague. Every cookie the Site sets is listed in section 5, with what it does and how long it lasts.

2. What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site recognise your device on a later page or a later visit. We also use similar technologies that work the same way in practice, including pixels and local storage; where this policy says "cookies", it covers those too.

First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose service we use, such as Google or Meta. Both are covered here.

When you first visit the Site you are shown a cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because the Site cannot work without them. Everything else (analytics and advertising) is set only if you agree. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, those cookies are not set and the associated third parties receive nothing.

Our consent banner is provided by Cookiebot, a service of Usercentrics A/S. It records your choice and passes it to the tools described below, which do not run without it.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and it takes effect immediately. Your choice is stored in a cookie on the device you are using, so clearing the cookies we have set for tzuka.com in your browser settings removes it. The banner will appear again on your next visit and you can make a new choice. If you would rather we walked you through it, email info@tzuka.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything that happened while your consent was in place.

4. The Categories We Use

  • Strictly necessary. Needed for the Site to function and for security: remembering what is in your basket, keeping your session secure, and recording your cookie choice. These are set without consent because the Site cannot be provided without them, and you cannot turn them off.
  • Analytics. Tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and where they run into trouble, so we can improve the Site. Set only with your consent.
  • Advertising. Let us measure whether our advertising works and show our ads to you on other platforms. Set only with your consent.

We do not use cookies to build profiles about your health, your training data, or anything you store on your earbuds. The TZ7 Ultra itself does not use cookies.

The list below is generated automatically from a scan of this Site, grouped by the categories described above. It is the authoritative list: it updates when the scan runs, so it cannot drift from what the Site actually sets. Each entry shows the cookie name, who provides it, what it does and how long it lasts.

Payments are taken on a checkout page hosted by Stripe, so some of the cookies listed under strictly necessary are set there rather than on our own pages. We use Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager; you can also opt out of Google Analytics on every website you visit using Google's browser add-on.

If the list does not appear, it is because your browser is blocking our consent provider. Ask us for the same information at info@tzuka.com.

6. Who Else Receives This Information

Where you consent to analytics or advertising cookies, the following companies receive information about your visit. Each of them decides how to use that information for its own measurement purposes, which makes them independent controllers of it, and each has its own privacy notice:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not allow these companies to use it to advertise anything other than Tzuka to you.

7. Information Sent Outside the UK

Several of the companies above process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on a safeguard recognised under UK data protection law, as explained in section 6 of our Privacy Policy. You can ask us which safeguard applies to a particular transfer by emailing info@tzuka.com.

8. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

The banner shown on your first visit is where you make your choice. After that, cookies are managed in your browser, which affects every site you visit: look for cookie or privacy settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge, where you can block or delete cookies and set rules for particular sites. Deleting the cookies we have set for tzuka.com also clears your recorded choice, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.

Cookie preferences are stored per browser and per device, so a choice you make on your phone does not carry across to your laptop. Clearing your cookies also clears the record of your choice, and the banner will ask you again.

9. What Happens If You Decline

The Site works normally. You can browse, reserve a pair of TZ7 Ultra earbuds, complete a purchase and contact us exactly as you would otherwise. Declining costs you nothing.

What changes is on our side: we see less about which pages are useful, and we cannot tell whether our advertising is reaching people who are interested. That is a trade we are content to make, and it is your decision rather than ours.

10. Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when the tools we use change. The effective date at the top tells you when it was last revised. If we add a new category of cookie, we will ask for your consent again rather than relying on a consent you gave to something else.

11. How to Contact Us

Questions about this policy, or about cookies on the Site, go to info@tzuka.com, or by post to Tzuka Limited, The Studio, Holywell Building, Holywell Way, Loughborough, LE11 3UZ, United Kingdom.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
